NHS 24 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Have a pen handy as they may give advice and invite you to attend a centre or offer a home visit.
Please note that they are unable to give you your repeat prescription.
Out of Hours cover is the responsibility of NHS 24. Cover is 6pm to 8am, Monday to Friday, all weekend and when the surgery is closed for Public Holidays.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
