Repeat Prescriptions

Repeat Prescriptions can only be called into the surgery between 10am-12pm.  This is to try and reduce the pressure on the telephones.

For those on long term medication, repeat prescriptions may be obtained by using our online services and ordered via the link at the top of this page.  You require a login to do this.  Please see reception to obtain your login details.  Other ways to order your prescription is by handing in your prescription request to the surgery or seeing your local pharmacy who can order your prescription for you.

Requests are made with the computer generated slip to the right of your prescription. Completed slips should be placed in the box at reception.

All medication requests made, are available after 2 full working days (48hrs) and NOT before then.  Do not phone to see if your prescription is ready. Go to your chosen pharmacy or attend the surgery for collection AFTER 48hrs. The surgery will be enforcing this rule as checking to see if prescriptions are ready is time consuming and is adding pressure on the service. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE YOUR MEDICATION IS ORDERED IN TIME.

You may be asked to make an appointment to review your medication; this is in your best interest.

If you wish your prescription to be collected from the surgery by one of our local Pharmacies, please tell one of our receptionists when requesting your prescription. Please note that ASDA Linwood will only collect your prescription if you have contacted them.

If you are planning to go away on holiday and will require your prescription early, please inform reception.
